William Jnr. married Sarah CROSS in Manchester Cathedral, 17 August 1851.  At the time of their marriage William was 29 yrs, a Bachelor and a 'Brickmaker' living at 21 York Street, Ardwick.  Sarah was 25 yrs, a spinster living at North street, Ardwick.  The witnesses were William WILLIAMS and Jn CHALONER.   Sarah was born Cheetwood, Lancashire 1825.  Cheetwood is part of Cheetham Hill.  Sarah was the daughter of George CROSS.
